The Golden Circle tour takes you on a spectacular day trip to see the magnificent Geysir geothermal area in the south-west of Iceland and the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, the queen of Icelandic waterfalls. Experience the bubbling mud pools and hissing steam vents at Geysir and of course Strokkur geyser, the most active geyser in Iceland as well as the massive Gullfoss in this classic Icelandic day trip. On the way, the tour stops at Thingvellir National Park, an area rich in history and geological wonders. Located in a rift valley, Thingvellir sits on top of the plate boundary that runs through Iceland created by the awesome power of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
